It features a modern monitoring system for quality control that allows you to keep your filtration system in optimal condition while it's working.

The filter works by passing tap water through the bottom of the filter and, due to water pressure, passes through the activated carbon cartridge. The water exiting the cartridge is clean water that no longer contains contaminants, organic matter, or substances that pose a risk to our health. This water continues its path to the neck of the filter and activates the monitoring sensor, which will indicate when it's time to change the cartridge.

The cartridge is certified by IAPMO R&T according to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of chloramine, chlorine taste and odor, and Class I particulate matter; NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for the reduction of lead, cysts, VOCs, MTBE, and turbidity; NSF/ANSI Standard 372 for lead-free product compliance under the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act when used in CT-45E or UC-45E systems.
